We went to Golden Gardens last week for a lovely beach romp. For those of you not living in the 206, this is a great park on the water in our neighborhood. Addie loved splashing in the stream, watching the kids digging in the sand, and checking out the birds stealing abandoned snacks. My little monkey loves to eat the sand and rocks. Whatever is lying around goes in her mouth. We had to do a little compromising, sand is OK- charcoal is not. No old crab legs either....eeeeeeew! Jeez Mom, what a kill joy.

Okay, the middle picture is my new desktop . . . especially fun to position whatever I'm working on just left of center, so Addie's playing peek-a-boo around it . . . a game we enjoyed enormously this past weekend!
