Addie is a crack up. We were in the grocery store tonight and Addie decided she would help herself to an apple. At first I thought she was just checking it out, then she started munching on it like a big kid. It was incredibly cute to see her work away at it with such calm devotion. Then we decided it was maybe a little much for her, the skin and all, and traded her the car keys for it. She was unwilling to give it up for nothing- smart kid. I've got to beware of this pattern: Addie does something technically bad (stealing an apple!) Dad thinks it's cute. Somehow it's resolved by Addie running off with the car keys. Hmmmm...

Great Aunt Katy had a similar problem with her Corgi pup -- watch out! Addie Ray, being even cuter than Jessie (is this possible?) could be a dangerous presence and a threat to word order.
