Big Kid

Here is our big girl, fast asleep in her big girl bed. It seems like this little baby of ours is shedding her baby ways, and quickly turning into a toddler. Of course she reserves the right to be a tiny baby whenever she pleases. We are very excited about the floor bed in our house. Addie loves her new bed, and spends a lot of time lounging on it with her most favorite friend- her baby. She got a baby from Grandpa Mike and Grandma Gael for her birthday, and is CRAZY about it. All of the sudden it is a very much loved and inquired about member of the family. "Baby?" (where is my baby?) "Baby!!" (oh my god i found my sweet baby!) Addie has so many new words, and is very expressive (as many strangers tell her). Some of the things she's saying are baby, ball, cracker, bubble, cheese, nana for banana, keys, down, yeah, all done, apple (many round fruit fall under this name, and she loves them all. Needs them. Right. Now.), thank you (at least we think that's what she's saying), Papa!, and Mama (finally). Some that fall into the mystery category are Mama Gaga, and Digg A Buh these are heavy in the rotation, but meanings remain unknown. Then you've got your animal sounds...meow, whoooo, etc.
She is also an amazing climber! Up and down all kinds of terrain like a little mountain goat. This weekend Addie started walking while holding our hands. This is really new and fun for her. She gets ahead of herself and drags her toes a bit, but she loves it! I guess this means walking is in our near future. Oh dear.
